Paddle Boarding

This14x11 Oil Painting of Princess Place Preserve was started on location and finished in the studio, a gift from family was a cabin for the night, on our 30th anniversary, painting from the porch, watching the wildlife as we woke in the morning with our coffee in hand. Feeling spoiled by the screened in porch keeping all the mosquitoes off as the sun rose over the water. The lake became glistening Hughes of gold and orange in the evening. I could imagine myself gliding over the surface of the water, watching nature from a new perspective and enjoying the serenity that water brings surrounded by the Florida coast. But I stayed painting, enjoying the outdoors from behind my easel.
